Daily Forecast: August 24, 2023



Mainly cloudy skies are expected across the region tomorrow with the risk of showers and thunderstorms once again.


There will be a risk for severe weather during the late evening hours, mainly in Southwestern Ontario. Threats may include strong wind gusts over 90 km/h, hail 2-3 cm in diameter, heavy rainfall and localized flooding.


Rainfall Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm Watches remain in effect tonight as thunderstorms continue.


Extremely hot temperatures are forecasted tomorrow, with some areas getting into humidex values over 40°C. Please remember to avoid extended periods of time in the sun, take frequent breaks if working outdoors, and stay hydrated. Cooler temperatures are expected on Friday.


High temperatures will range from 21°C to 32°C across the region. Temperatures in pink represent forecasted humidex values.
