Daily Forecast: February 28, 2023



The winter storm will wrap up tomorrow, as snow tapers off from west to east throughout the day. Elsewhere, a mix of sun and cloud is expected in the afternoon after cloudy skies move out in the afternoon.


Freezing Rain Warnings, Snowfall Warnings, and Winter Weather Travel Advisories remain in effect from Environment and Climate Change Canada. These alerts will come to an end as precipitation tapers off from west to east.


Fog patches are expected to develop tonight. Visibility may become reduced at times. If travelling, slow down and watch for taillights ahead. Make sure your full lighting system is on.


We are now beginning to shift our attention to another potential winter storm near the end of the week. A lot of details still remain uncertain. Please stay tuned for further forecast updates.
