Advance Weather
Daily Forecast: June 7, 2023

Smoke is forecasted across Eastern Ontario and parts of the GTA tomorrow, while the rest of the region sees a mix of sun and cloud.
The forecasted smoke is expected to be rather dense. Poor air quality will continue across the region tomorrow. We continue to recommend rescheduling all outdoor activities until the air quality improves. Poor visibility will also be possible due to the dense smoke over the region. Special Air Quality Statements are in effect for all areas except Windsor-Essex.
Southern Ontario remains under extreme fire danger. Due to the lack of rain and warm temperatures, one spark, even accidental, can turn into a fire. More municipalities and townships have started to issue fire bans. We continue to recommend everyone avoids starting any open fires.
More smoke and poor air quality is in the forecast for Thursday, however, the area of concentration appears to be Southwestern Ontario. We will have more forecast details posted tomorrow. Please stay tuned for further updates.
Looking ahead to the weekend, we are monitoring the potential for a slight pattern change. There will be a small potential for some much needed rain that we will continue to monitor.
High temperatures will range from 15°C to 23°C across the region.
