In a press conference Wednesday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that the province will be expanding eligibility for COVID-19 booster shots to help protect against the Omicron variant.
Beginning Monday, December 20, 2021, individuals aged 18 and over will be eligible to schedule their booster dose appointment through the the vaccination portal here, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, through Indigenous-led vaccination clinics, participating pharmacies and primary care settings.
Appointments will now be booked three months after a second dose.
