Rainfall Warning continued for:

  • Deep River - Whitney - Eastern Algonquin Park

  • Haliburton - Minden - Southern Haliburton County

  • Huntsville - Baysville

  • Oxtongue Lake - Fort Irwin - Northern Haliburton County

  • Western Algonquin Park - Lake of Two Rivers


Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Hazards: Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 60 mm. Locally higher amounts are also possible in areas that receive thunderstorms. Timing: Ending this afternoon for areas near Lake Huron and late this evening or overnight for areas east of Georgian Bay. Discussion: Showers and isolated thunderstorms will move across the region as a cold front approaches from the west. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry office. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
