Environment Canada has ended the Winter Weather Travel Advisory for:

  • Chatham-Kent - Rondeau Park

  • London - Parkhill - Eastern Middlesex County

  • Sarnia - Petrolia - Western Lambton County

  • Strathroy - Komoka - Western Middlesex County

  • Watford - Pinery Park - Eastern Lambton County

  • Windsor - Leamington - Essex County


Details:

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for tonight. Snow is expected to move into southwestern Ontario after 6 PM EST and advance northeastward as the evening progresses. At any location, the heaviest snowfall is most likely during the first two or three hours after onset, with lighter snowfall expected after that. Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are possible tonight with the bulk of the precipitation likely coming in the first few hours. Road conditions are expected to rapidly deteriorate once the snow arrives. Untreated roads may suddenly become snow covered and slippery. Motorists should allow for extra time to reach their destination.
