There will be an Elevated risk for severe weather late Tuesday and will continue through the morning hours of Wednesday.

Some thunderstorms will be possible during the evening hours, likely after 8 PM, however a cluster of thunderstorms is likely to move in around midnight.

Within the Elevated risk area, rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres are likely, along with the risk for an isolated tornado, wind gusts of 90 km/h, and hail 2 to 3 centimetres in diameter. Power outages may occur.

Flooding is also likely for many areas as recent rain events have saturated the ground, and additional rainfall may lead to flooding. Flash flooding will be possible, especially in torrential downpours.

The severe risk will diminish further east. The Low risk area may experience wind gusts of up to 80 km/h. The Very Low and Non-Severe risk areas will likely see heavy rainfall. The severe weather threat will cease during the morning hours on Wednesday.
