Daily Forecast: April 8, 2024

Tomorrow is the day of the total solar eclipse! Many areas will see a mix of sun and cloud while portions of Eastern and Southwestern Ontario will see the clouds move out by the afternoon, leading to mainly sunny skies.

There is still some uncertainty regarding where the cloud cover will remain during the eclipse tomorrow. We will have updates from the Advance Weather SPACE CENTRE tomorrow through the day. If travelling, the roads will likely be very busy so be sure to leave plenty of extra time. For those viewing the eclipse, ensure you wear your ISO certified eclipse glasses to protect your vision.

Looking ahead, milder temperatures are possible on Tuesday with some areas reaching 20°C or above and some rain possible late in the day, including a low risk for some severe weather. Wednesday looks to bring fairly warm temperatures as well before the potential for some rain Thursday and Friday.
