Chatham-Kent issues Parking Ban

With drifting snow and more accumulation expected this week, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent has placed a 72-hour ban on the parking of vehicles on municipal streets and roads.

The parking ban starts at 2 pm today, February 16, 2021 and will continue to 2 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Residents are being reminded that placing snow or ice on a roadway is a violation under the Highway Traffic Act. They are being asked not to push snow or ice onto the roadways.
