Saturday will be a cold day across the area. Snow squalls and heavier snow showers are expected across the region.

Snow Squall Watches (Orange and Yellow level) are in effect. Environment Canada states 20 to 40 centimetres will be possible by Sunday. Special Weather Statements are also in effect for lake effect snow for areas near Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

Many areas will see snow tomorrow, with short-lived heavy snowfall and poor visibility expected. Areas that see snow squalls should expect poor travel conditions through much of the day.

Tomorrow night will be a cold night, with temperatures dropping to the negative teens for many areas, along with wind chills in the negative 20s.

Temperatures in blue represent forecasted wind chill values.
