Warm temperatures are expected for Thursday, along with a mix of sun and cloud across the region.

Some showers are expected during the morning and afternoon hours, mainly for the Bruce Peninsula and portions of the GTA.

Steadier rain will move in tomorrow night and continue into the overnight hours through Friday morning. At this time, the concern is a rapid drop in temperature, which will cause rain to transition to snow and cause wet surfaces to become ice covered quickly. Strong wind gusts up to 90 km/h also appear likely, especially as the cold front passes through the area.

Snow squalls look to develop across much of the area Friday after the cold front passes through. Areas off Lake Huron look to have the best chance at higher accumulations. Friday will be a much colder day across the region.
