Daily Forecast: December 20, 2022



Extreme Southwestern Ontario will see a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow while the rest of the region will see cloudy skies. The Tobermory area will see snow showers throughout the day as a low pressure system moves through Northern Ontario. There will be a 40% chance of flurries for areas off Lake Huron and in Eastern Ontario.


Special Weather Statements have been issued for all of Southern Ontario by Environment and Climate Change Canada. A significant winter storm is expected late this week into the holiday weekend. At this time, it is expected that precipitation will begin as rain before transitioning to snow. A flash freeze is possible, along with strong wind gusts and the potential for blizzard conditions. There is a large amount of uncertainty with this storm, so stay tuned for further updates.


High temperatures will range from -4°C to 1°C across the region. Temperatures in blue represent forecasted wind chill values.
