Daily Forecast: December 3, 2022



Cloudy skies will be seen across the region tomorrow. There will be a slight risk for showers or flurries in the afternoon as temperatures fall throughout the afternoon with the passage of a cold front.


Wind Warnings and Special Weather Statements have been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada. Within the Wind Warning, wind gusts of 90 km/h or more are expected. Localized wind gusts of up to 100 km/h are possible. Within the Special Weather Statement, wind gusts of up to 80 km/h are expected. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, causing injury and damage. Any loose objects should be secured or brought inside. Power outages are possible. The strong wind gusts will ease late in the day and overnight into Sunday.


In the afternoon, snow squalls will develop off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Poor visibility and road conditions are expected within these snow squalls, especially within the areas where wind gusts of 90 km/h are expected. As temperatures fall below 0°C in the afternoon, there is the potential for freezing across surfaces such as sidewalks and roads. Take caution if travelling and be aware of changing road conditions.


High temperatures will range from 6°C to 9°C across the region.
