Snow will begin breaking out tomorrow afternoon in Southwestern Ontario, beginning to push eastward through the afternoon and evening.

Winter Storm Warnings, Snowfall Warnings, and Winter Weather Travel Advisories have been issued by Environment Canada. They say the highest snowfall totals within the Winter Storm Warning will likely be 30 to 40 centimetres.

The evening commute will be affected across much of the region tomorrow, including the GTA, as road conditions deteriorate. Gusty winds will cause reduced visibility while the snow falls. If possible, consider avoiding travel beginning tomorrow afternoon, and maybe leaving work early to avoid a hazardous commute.

Snow will continue overnight into Thursday morning. Some uncertainty remains at this time regarding exact snowfall totals and if precipitation will mix with freezing rain, ice pellets and rain.
