The winter storm will begin moving out of the region overnight and through the day tomorrow. Eastern Ontario will see snow through portions of the morning.

Winter Storm Warnings, Freezing Rain Warnings, Snowfall Warnings and Winter Weather Travel Advisories continue tonight. Conditions are poor in many areas, and there have been a few changes in the deep Southwest in terms of amounts of freezing rain. Snow is expected to take over for areas seeing freezing rain, and heavy bands of snow are possible during the overnight.

Travel conditions will improve tomorrow morning, however many areas will likely have a slow morning commute as road crews clean up from the snowfall. Some areas will still see some snow during the morning commute. Be prepared for slow and slippery travel. Secondary roadways may be snow packed.

We now focus our attention to the potential for snow squalls Friday, and maybe some more accumulating snow on the weekend.
