Snow squalls are expected off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay tomorrow, with flurries expected for many areas. Eastern Ontario will see a mix of sun and cloud.
Snow Squall Warnings, Snow Squall Watches and Winter Weather Travel Advisories are in effect tonight. Some areas may see upwards of 60 centimetres of snow by Tuesday from snow squalls. Blowing and drifting snow is expected, as well as road closures. An update on the snow squalls will be posted shortly.
Bands of lake effect snow are expected to impact areas that see flurries tomorrow. These bands of snow may quickly reduce visibility and cover roadways.
It will be a cold day tomorrow with wind chills near or below -20ºC in many areas during the afternoon. Many areas will see wind chills near -25ºC in the morning. Some colder wind chills near -30ºC are expected Tuesday morning. An update on this will be posted shortly as well.
Some Winter Storm Warnings continue at this time as well, but snow will taper off in these areas tonight.
