Snow squalls will continue for areas off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay tomorrow, leading to more significant impacts on travel. The rest of the region is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud.
Snow Squall Warnings, Blowing Snow Advisories and Winter Weather Travel Advisories are in effect tonight due to snow squalls. Many roads are closed, and many municipalities have ceased snow plow operations. Avoid all travel tonight.
The snow squalls will be continuing tomorrow, producing more significant snowfall and extensive blowing and drifting snow. Strong wind gusts will cause blowing and drifting snow to continue tomorrow, with road closures expected again. Avoid travel tomorrow as well.
Many school bus cancellations are expected across the region tomorrow as blowing and drifting snow continues, and as stated, many roads remain closed.
Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect for Southwestern Ontario. It will be a very cold morning tomorrow with wind chills near -30ºC expected. Ensure you are bundled up!
