Daily Forecast: February 2, 2023



Another mix of sun and cloud is expected across the region tomorrow. Snow squalls are expected off Georgian Bay tonight into tomorrow morning.


A quick burst of snow is expected to develop off Lake Huron tomorrow afternoon and push across the region. Some quick accumulations of snow are possible during the afternoon commute along with poor visibility. Snow Squall Warnings and Winter Weather Travel Advisories remain effect from Environment and Climate Change Canada.


Cold wind chills are expected once again tomorrow. Be sure to bundle up if heading outdoors, including hats, gloves, a winter coat and earmuffs. Be aware of the symptoms of hypothermia and frostbite. Limit your time outdoors if possible. We are monitoring the potential for colder temperatures on Friday. More details will be posted in tomorrow's forecast.


Tomorrow is Groundhog Day! Will we have an early spring or will we see eight more weeks of winter? We will find out tomorrow!
