Cloudy skies are expected across the region tomorrow. Some areas in Eastern Ontario may see some light snow, however accumulations should remain low. Wind gusts of up to 60 km/h are possible throughout the day.
Special Weather Statements have been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada. They state that an ice storm is possible for parts of Southwestern Ontario late Wednesday into Thursday. They also mention that extended and widespread utility outages are possible.
We continue to monitor this winter storm, however we are still unfortunately facing much uncertainty in terms of the amount of freezing rain expected, and the locations that will be impacted. We hope to have further details posted tomorrow and apologize for the delay.
