Snow squalls will continue across Central and Midwestern Ontario tomorrow, with bands of snow affecting the rest of the region through the day. As well, it will be another chilly day across the area with wind chills in the negative teens.

Snow Squall Warnings, Snow Squall Watches and Winter Weather Travel Advisories continue across the region. The hardest hit areas including Parry Sound, Huntsville, Goderich and Mount Forest can expect up to 50 centimetres of snow, with the potential for locally higher amounts. For more information, visit the STORM CENTRE. Travel with caution in these areas as weather and road conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly.

Although not all areas will see prolific snow squalls tomorrow, bands of lake effect snow and heavy snow showers are expected across the region. Any of these bands of snow can quickly coat roadways and cause poor visibility.

Some gusty winds, possibly up to 50 km/h, are expected throughout much of the day. Blowing and drifting snow is expected across the region tomorrow.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week, snow squalls are expected through Wednesday before slowly winding down Thursday as a system comes through, bringing additional snowfall across the area.
