A mix of freezing rain and ice pellets will move into Southwestern Ontario tonight. Precipitation may mix with snow at times before changing to rain later tomorrow morning. Snow is expected for areas north and east of Windsor and Chatham.
Freezing Rain Warnings and Winter Weather Travel Advisories have been issued. Roadways and sidewalks are expected to become ice covered and slippery in areas that receive freezing rain. 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected for the rest of the region.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, we are expecting temperatures to rise, as well as rainy conditions.
High temperatures will range from -3°C to 0°C across the region. Temperatures in blue represent forecasted wind chill values.
