A very cold day is forecasted across the region for Friday. Snow squalls will continue across the snow belts, with a mix of sun and cloud expected for the rest of the region.


Snow Squall Warnings (Yellow Level) and Special Weather Statements are in effect across Southern Ontario tonight. Special Weather Statements are in effect for areas of reduced visibility in heavy snow tonight.


Blowing snow is expected across the region tomorrow with wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h forecasted. Road closures and poor travel conditions are expected.


We are also monitoring the potential for some widespread snow on Sunday, however many details need to be confirmed still.
