Some snow squalls will continue off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay for Saturday, and will weaken through the day. The rest of the region will see some sun and clouds.
Very cold wind chills are forecasted overnight, with all areas likely below -30ºC. Wind chills will moderate slightly tomorrow afternoon, with all areas below -20ºC. Ensure you are adequately dressed for the cold temperatures. Cold Warnings (Yellow Level) are in effect across the region.
As conditions will improve tomorrow, the STORM CENTRE will be deactivated temporarily. This will only be the case until forecast information is published for Sunday, when widespread snowfall is likely across the region. Portions of the GTHA will likely see lake enhanced snowfall, with amounts near 30 centimetres possible. Further information will be posted tomorrow.
The cold air looks to stick around through all of next week, although it likely won't be as cold as this weekend.
