Tomorrow will bring another round of snow squalls to the area, along with some gusty winds throughout the day.
Some localized snow squalls are expected across the entire region between early tomorrow morning and mid-morning. These snow squalls can cause slippery travel, reduce visibility, and quickly cover roadways. Keep this in mind for your morning commute.
Strong wind gusts have developed tonight and will continue through tomorrow. Blowing and drifting snow is expected tonight and through the day tomorrow. The morning commute will likely be impacted due to drifting snow. Whiteout conditions are expected tomorrow due to these high winds, especially for areas hit hard last night by blowing and drifting snow. Additional road closures will be possible. Check the STORM CENTRE for updates.
Winter Weather Travel Advisories remain in effect tonight due to accumulating snow. Travel with caution tonight. Snow will move out through the night.
Snow Squall Watches are also in effect as snow squalls are expected to develop off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay tomorrow. Snowfall amounts of up to 25 centimetres may be possible. Check the STORM CENTRE for updates on this as well.
