Rain, heavy at times, will move into the area overnight and continue through much of the day tomorrow. There may be some breaks in the rain, and thunderstorms will be possible as well.
Flooding will be a concern tomorrow across the region as the rain will include thunderstorms and torrential downpours. There is the potential for flash flooding, especially for areas that receive locally torrential downpours with significant rainfall in a short period of time. Ensure you do not drive through any flooded roads, as some roads may become washed out or impassable.
Severe weather will be possible tomorrow afternoon, with threats including flash flooding, strong wind gusts, hail, and the potential for tornadoes. We will have a Severe Weather Outlook posted tomorrow.
Gusty winds are expected tomorrow as well, with many areas seeing wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h. Some areas may see wind gusts over 70 km/h.
