Mainly sunny skies are expected across the region for Saturday, along with high humidity. There will be a risk for thunderstorms.

Heat Warnings have been issued for portions of the region. Environment Canada states that "A prolonged period of near heat warning levels" is expected, and may continue through Thursday. Ensure you remain hydrated, even before your feel thirsty, and avoid extended periods of time in the sun.

There will be a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms tomorrow, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Southwestern Ontario and Cottage Country are expected to be the most impacted. At this time, thunderstorms will likely bring risks for strong wind gusts up to 110 km/h, torrential rainfall, small hail, and the potential for an isolated tornado.

Temperatures in red represent forecasted humidex values.
