A mainly sunny day is expected across the region tomorrow before some rain and thunderstorms move into the region during the afternoon and evening hours.
We are expecting severe thunderstorms to move into Southwestern Ontario during the afternoon and evening. This event appears to be relatively similar to last week, with all hazards on the table. Heavy rain, flooding, large hail, strong wind gusts and tornadoes are all possible. More details will be posted in a full STORM CENTRE update.
Due to the strong potential for severe weather tomorrow, we encourage the public to have a plan in place and know where to go if severe weather strikes. We also encourage everyone to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts (radio, television, cell phone apps, etc.)
Heat Warnings have been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada for much of the region. Hot and humid temperatures are expected for the rest of the week, with humidex values reaching 40°C for some areas. We encourage everyone to stay hydrated and avoid long periods outdoors.
Poor air quality will be possible once again tomorrow due to the hot and humid temperatures. We encourage everyone to stay mindful of symptoms of air pollution.
High temperatures will range from 28°C to 33°C across the region. Temperatures in pink represent forecasted humidex values.
