Mainly cloudy skies are expected across the region tomorrow, along with hot and humid temperatures. There will be a risk for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, some storms may be strong to severe. Steadier rain will move in tomorrow evening.
Heat Warnings continue for the Niagara Region, the GTA, and the Golden Horseshoe. Ensure you avoid extended periods of time in the sun and stay hydrated. Cooler air will arrive tomorrow night.
Special Weather Statements have been issued for much of the region as well, as remnants from Tropical Storm Beryl are expected to move in late tomorrow night into Wednesday. Environment Canada states that rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm per hour are possible. Flash flooding will be a concern with this system. Some details remain uncertain, and we are hoping for further clarity tomorrow. Please stay tuned for further updates.
