Poor air quality is possible once again tomorrow due to hot and humid temperatures and may cause elevated pollution levels. Be aware of symptoms of air pollution.
Many areas remain under extreme fire danger due to a lack of rain and hot, warm conditions. Again, we recommend avoiding any open fires as they may become quickly out of control. Check with your local municipal office as many areas are now under restricted rules for fires.
Heat Warnings have been issued for the GTHA and Ottawa regions as temperatures are within the warning criteria. Avoid long periods of time in the heat and stay hydrated. The heat event is expected to continue on Friday before cooler temperatures arrive on Saturday.
High temperatures will range from 29°C to 33°C across the region.
