Some thunderstorms are expected to develop across the region tomorrow afternoon and evening. Any thunderstorm will likely have the potential to be severe, with threats including torrential downpours, small hail, and damaging wind gusts.
Heat Warnings continue from Environment Canada. Everyone is encouraged to avoid extended periods of time in the sun and stay hydrated. The hot and humid temperatures are expected to continue until the weekend.
Special Weather Statements have been issued for portions of Southwestern Ontario tonight. Environment Canada states that thunderstorms with gusty winds up to 80 km/h and torrential downpours with amounts of 50 mm are expected.
