Daily Forecast: June 22, 2024

A mix of sun and cloud is expected across Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario tomorrow, as well as the GTA. Rain is expected over much of Central and Eastern Ontario.

The rain is expected to move into Central and Eastern Ontario in the morning and continue through much of the day. Some embedded thunderstorms will be possible as well, with threats for torrential downpours and flash flooding, small hail, and strong wind gusts. Some areas may receive significant rainfall near 75 mm.

Extreme heat will continue over much of the region tomorrow. Heat Warnings have ended for some areas, however Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario remain under the warnings with humidex values near 40°C expected again tomorrow. Ensure you avoid extended periods of time in the sun and stay hydrated.

Looking ahead to the next couple days, temperatures will likely cool down slightly Sunday with cooler temperatures expected Monday. Warmer temperatures look possible once again on Tuesday.
