Tuesday will bring yet another hot and humid day across the area, along with mainly sunny skies. The good news is temperatures look to cool down a bit for Wednesday.

High temperatures will be in the mid 30s with humidex values into the mid 40s across much of the area once again. Avoid extended periods of time in the sun and ensure you stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water, even before you feel thirsty. Check on young children, the elderly and your pets. Heat Warnings remain in effect across Southern Ontario.

There will be a risk for thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. The main risk areas are expected to be Southwestern Ontario and Extreme Eastern Ontario. Thunderstorms may bring threats for heavy rainfall, wind gusts up to 90 km/h, and hail 3 to 4 centimetres in diameter. Flash flooding may also occur.

Temperatures will cool down a bit on Wednesday, with many areas in the high 20s, but it will remain humid. Thursday and Friday both look fairly warm and humid as well.
