A mild Tuesday will bring some intermittent rain through the day, but it's only the first part of this expected rainfall.
Special Weather Statements are in effect across the region. Rainfall amounts of 10 to 25 millimetres are expected tomorrow through Wednesday. This may bring the risk for flooding in many areas, especially for areas that have large snowpacks.
The Ottawa area is expected to see a mix of rain and snow tomorrow. There is the potential for some freezing rain across the region during the early morning hours. Take caution if heading out first thing in the morning as surfaces may be icy.
The forecast brings a bit of everything, as some more rain and maybe even some thunderstorms are expected Wednesday, along with some gusty winds. Rain will likely change to snow Wednesday into Thursday, with a drop in temperature. Thursday may be fairly breezy as well.
