Rainfall, heavy at times, will move in overnight and will taper to showers from west to east tomorrow.
Some thunderstorms are expected to develop tomorrow afternoon and evening, likely remaining non-severe. However, these thunderstorms may bring heavy rainfall, leading to additional flooding risks.
Rainfall Warnings and Special Weather Statements remain in effect from Environment Canada. The frozen ground will have difficulty absorbing the rainfall. Flooding will be possible tomorrow across the region, especially for areas with large amounts of snow.
Strong wind gusts are also expected tomorrow, mainly near 40 to 50 km/h. Some stronger gusts near 70 km/h are possible during the morning.
Additionally, rain is expected to transition to snow tomorrow night, bringing a drop in temperature for Thursday morning. Icy road conditions may develop, especially on untreated roadways.
