Monday will bring a cold day to the area, with some snow, including snow squalls for areas in Southwestern Ontario.
Multiple weather alerts are in effect this evening, including a Snowfall Warning for Eastern Ontario, Snow Squall Watches in Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario, and Special Weather Statements for many areas.
Snow squalls are expected to develop this evening and continue through Tuesday. Environment Canada states 15 to 30 centimetres of snow is expected for some areas. Poor travel conditions are expected, including Highway 401 and Highway 402.
As temperatures drop tonight, icy road conditions are expected across the region. Ice and snow covered roadways may impact your morning commute tomorrow, ensure to give yourself some additional time.
