Wednesday will bring rain showers tracking through the region, along with a sharp change in temperature throughout the day.
Temperatures will reach their high temperatures during the morning and early afternoon before falling with the passage of a cold front. Many areas will be near 0ºC by the end of the day, feeling colder due to the wind chill.
Strong wind gusts are expected tomorrow, with some areas seeing wind gusts 90 km/h or greater. Wind Warnings and Special Weather Statements are in effect. Ensure loose objects are secured or brought inside. Power outages will be possible.
Snow Squall Watches are also in effect, with snow squalls expected to begin early Thursday morning. With the winds remaining strong on Thursday, travel conditions are expected to become hazardous. Stay tuned for more updates. Further forecast information is available in the STORM CENTRE.
