Daily Forecast: November 4, 2024

A mainly cloudy day is forecasted for the start of the work week, along with rain that will make its way across the area through the day. However, temperatures will warm up once again.

Rain will begin moving across the region tonight into tomorrow morning, bringing multiple rounds of rain showers throughout the day. Many areas will likely see intermittent rain, so the entire day likely won't be a washout. Rainfall amounts of Trace to 10 mm are expected across much of the region, with higher amounts near 25 mm possible for portions of Central Ontario and the Bruce Peninsula.

Tomorrow looks to be a fairly breezy day across the area as well, with wind gusts of 40 to 60 km/h expected across the region. Some areas may see wind gusts above 60 km/h.

As temperatures drop near zero tonight in Eastern and Central Ontario, there may be a brief period of freezing rain overnight. We are not expecting much in terms of ice accretion, however it is something to keep in mind during your morning commute.

And as we look ahead to Tuesday, more unseasonable warmth is expected to move into the area once again. Some records may be broken this week before we see cooler temperatures by Friday.
