October will begin with cooler temperatures across the region. High pressure will continue to provide the area with sunny skies. Some clouds will build in towards the end of the day.

Frost Advisories are in place for portions of Central and Eastern Ontario. Temperatures are expected to fall near the freezing mark tonight. Cover up frost-prone plants or bring them inside to prevent damage.

With no precipitation expected for at least the next five days, our focus is currently on some unseasonably warm temperatures for this weekend. Although tomorrow will be cooler, temperatures will rise again beginning Thursday, with some areas in the upper 20s by the weekend.
