
The weekend will begin with mainly cloudy skies and rain showers across the region throughout the day. There will be the potential for some breaks of sunshine through the day, especially in Southwestern Ontario.
Conditions will be favourable overnight tonight and tomorrow for the development of waterspouts over the Great Lakes. Environment Canada has issued a Waterspout Watch for Northern and Southern Lake Huron, as well as Northern and Southern Georgian Bay.
Mariners planning to be on the water this weekend should stay tuned for further forecast updates and monitor for adverse weather conditions. Take shelter and head to shore if threatening weather approaches.
Frost will be possible tomorrow night as temperatures fall near the freezing mark, especially in Eastern and Midwestern Ontario. Ensure any plants or crops are covered to prevent damage. Warmer temperatures are expected on Sunday.
