UPDATE: Extreme Heat Continues Monday

Sunday was a very hot and humid day across the region, with many areas seeing high temperatures in the mid 30s and humidex values into the 40s.

Monday will bring another day of high temperatures in the mid 30s for many areas, and humidex values of 40 to 45ºC across the region. The exception will be in the Bruce Peninsula, where humidex values of 35 to 40ºC are expected. Additionally, areas along lakeshores will see cooler temperatures, and lower humidex values.

Heat Warnings remain in effect across the region this evening.
