A low pressure system will move towards the region tonight, bringing rain that will continue throughout the day tomorrow. In some areas, particularly Southwestern Ontario, there will be a slight risk for thunderstorms, mainly during the morning hours. The rain is expected to end late in the evening as the low pressure system moves way from the area.
Strong wind gusts will also accompany the rain, with areas in Southwestern Ontario expected to see wind gusts up to 60 km/h. The winds will slowly ease throughout the day.
The heaviest rainfall amounts are expected in Extreme Southwestern Ontario, with locally heavier rainfall amounts possible within thunderstorms. Flooding will also be possible in areas that receive the heaviest rain.

We would like to remind everyone of some important information for driving in heavy rain. Remember that it is never safe to drive through flooded roads, always turn around. Ensure your headlights and taillights are turned on, and avoid using cruise control as it can cause hydroplaning.
