Snow Squalls have developed off Lake Huron tonight, but squalls will shift overnight and will continue through the day tomorrow. The most intense snow squall is expected to last through much of Monday and Tuesday, shifting slightly at times.

These snow squalls will bring some light accumulations to the GTA, but the highest amounts are expected to be 25 to 50 centimetres, which includes areas such as Southampton, Saugeen Shores, Chatsworth, Markdale, Flesherton, Dundalk and Durham.

Blowing and drifting snow is expected with these snow squalls, as well as poor visibility. Road closures are expected in many of these areas.

Some higher snowfall totals are also possible, and updates to the Snow Squall Outlook will be possible. The STORM CENTRE will be acivated if it is deemed necessary.
