Mainly cloudy skies are expected across much of the region tomorrow, along with a risk for some showers and thunderstorms. Mainly sunny conditions are expected in Eastern Ontario.
Heat Warnings are now in effect for portions of the region, including Southwestern Ontario, the Golden Horseshoe, the GTA, and Eastern Ontario, including Ottawa. Environment Canada states that daytime high temperatures are expected to be between 29 and 31°C with humidex values near 40°C. Ensure you avoid extended periods of time in the sun and stay hydrated.
Some strong to severe thunderstorms may develop tomorrow. There is some uncertainty still regarding the development of the thunderstorms. However, threats may include torrential downpours and damaging wind gusts. More details will be posted tomorrow.
