For Friday, January 22, 2021, Ontario is reporting 2,662 new cases of COVID-19, 3,375 new recoveries and 87 new deaths.
There are 779 new cases in Toronto, 542 in Peel, 228 in York Region, 128 in Waterloo, 118 in Windsor-Essex County, 102 in Halton and 95 in Niagara.
71,750 tests were completed yesterday.
