Daily Forecast: April 3, 2024

Varying weather conditions will be the weather story for tomorrow. Rain will continue for many areas before transitioning to snow by the afternoon and evening. Most of the snow will fall as wet snow, with the exception of Eastern Ontario and higher elevations.

Poor travel will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening as precipitation transitions from rain to snow, especially in Eastern Ontario. There is the potential for a period of an icy mix during the transition. Additionally, poor visibility will be possible due to strong wind gusts and falling snow.

Strong wind gusts are also expected across the region tonight through tomorrow before easing tomorrow night. Some areas could see wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Now is a good time to secure any loose outdoor objects or bring them inside.

Snowfall Warnings, Rainfall Warnings and Special Weather Statements remain in effect across the region from Environment Canada.

Temperatures will fall through the day for most areas, meaning high temperatures will be reached in the morning or early afternoon.

Fog may develop for some areas tonight into tomorrow morning. Drive with caution in areas of poor visibility.
