Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario will see a mix of sun and cloud for most of the day tomorrow, while Eastern Ontario sees sunny skies.
Rain will move into Southwestern Ontario late tomorrow night. At this time, we are expecting it to begin between 7 and 8 PM. As the rain moves east, it will transition to freezing rain for Midwestern Ontario and the GTA. Icy conditions are expected on roadways and sidewalks for the morning commute on Tuesday. The freezing rain is expected to move east throughout the day on Tuesday. Further forecast details will be posted tomorrow.
Looking ahead to later this week, a second system is expected to move into the region overnight Wednesday into Thursday. All details remain very uncertain at this time, however, it currently appears that all precipitation types are possible. Further forecast details will be shared in the coming days.
