Daily Forecast: January 16, 2024



Some light snow is expected across the region tomorrow, followed by cloudy skies. Some peeks of sunshine will be possible during the afternoon.


The snow is expected to begin tomorrow morning in many areas. Some roads may quickly become snow covered and slippery due to the cold temperatures. Take caution during your morning commute. Many areas will likely see up to 5 cm of snow, with the potential for locally higher amounts.


We are expecting the frigid temperatures to continue for the rest of the week, with the likelihood of temperatures above zero being rather low. Wind chill values on Wednesday morning may reach -30°C in Southwestern Ontario.


Snow Squall Warnings and Winter Weather Travel Advisories continue tonight as a multi-day lake effect snow event continues. Take caution if travelling in these areas.


High temperatures will range from -7°C to -14°C across the region. Temperatures in blue represent forecasted wind chill values.
