Daily Forecast: January 19, 2024



Even more snow is expected tomorrow through Southwestern Ontario, the GTA, and the Golden Horseshoe. A mix of sun and cloud is expected for Central and Eastern Ontario.


The morning commute will be impacted in Southwestern Ontario once again tomorrow. The snow will begin overnight and continue through tomorrow afternoon. Local snowfall amounts of up to 6 cm are expected. Please travel with caution and leave yourself extra time.


Snow Squall Watches have been issued for areas off Lake Huron. Snow squalls are expected to develop tomorrow afternoon. Weather and road conditions may deteriorate rapidly in these areas.


Snow Squall Warnings and Winter Weather Travel Advisories also continue tonight as snow squalls continue off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. We are expecting these snow squalls to wrap up later tonight.


For the weekend, we are expecting the arctic air to move back into the area, with some areas even seeing some of it tomorrow with cold wind chills.


High temperatures will range from -18°C to -8°C across the region. Temperatures in blue represent forecasted wind chill values.
