Daily Forecast: March 19, 2024

Another round of flurries and snow showers is expected across the region tomorrow. Cloudy skies are expected in Deep Southwestern Ontario.

Within the snow showers tomorrow, we are expecting additional risks for poor visibility in the heavier snow showers. In areas below freezing, the snow showers may also quickly coat roadways and cause slippery conditions. Please travel with caution.

Winter Weather Travel Advisories have been issued for areas near Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Environment Canada states that snow will begin tomorrow morning with snowfall accumulations of between 5 and 15 cm, along with reduced visibility.

A cold front is going to swing through the area on Wednesday morning, leading to cooler temperatures for Wednesday night.

We are currently monitoring a potential system later this week. At this time, we are unclear on the exact timing and strength of the system, however more details are expected later this week. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Tomorrow is Spring Equinox! Spring will officially arrive tomorrow night at 11:06 PM Eastern Time. It will remain spring until the Summer Solstice on June 20, 2024 at 4:51 PM EDT.
