Another day filled with snow showers is expected across the region tomorrow. Once again, some of these may be heavy and quickly cause poor visibility and cover roadways. A mix of sun and cloud is expected in deep Southwestern Ontario.
As a cold front passes through the area, we are expecting snow squalls to begin developing off Lake Huron through the day. Poor travel will be possible along Highway 6, 11, 21, 23 and 400. Some of these snow squalls may even reach the GTA during the afternoon. Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 20 cm are possible and amounts will vary depending on the position of the squalls.
A Snow Squall Warning is in effect for the Parry Sound area this evening. Winter Weather Travel Advisories also remain in effect. Please travel with caution tonight.
We continue to track a system for later this week. Some details remain uncertain, however we are expecting the system to arrive Thursday night into Friday, and continuing into Friday night. Please stay tuned for further updates.
